CouplesConnect Terms of Use
Effective date: 31 October 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms govern access to CouplesConnect, a mobile-first service operated by Pankaj Gupta ("CouplesConnect," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service after being shown these terms, you agree to the version presented to you, subject to applicable law.

2. Intended users and purpose
CouplesConnect is for adult couples arranging platonic social Plans with other couples. It is not a dating service, singles-matching service, or a service for sexual or open-relationship matchmaking. The current product does not handle payments or ticketing. Both partners represented by an account must be at least 18. Self-selected age bands are not age verification. Do not create an account if either partner is under 18.
One account represents one couple. Each person using the account must have the other partner's agreement to share their information. Keep your email account secure and do not share sign-in codes or access tokens.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate supported profile and Plan information, use only an account you are authorized to control, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You may not impersonate others, access another account or restricted information, interfere with service security, harass or threaten users, spam, or post unlawful content. You may not use the service to arrange conduct that conflicts with its platonic social purpose.
You are responsible for information you choose to share in your profile, Plans, introductions and Plan chat. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, financial information, precise home location or other sensitive information.
4. Plans and communications
Users create Plans. A request to join does not guarantee acceptance; participation depends on approval, capacity and applicable joining cutoffs. Plans may be changed, cancelled or expire. Saved Plans are private bookmarks and do not constitute requests to participate.
Plan chat is for current participants to communicate about the shared Plan, not a separate permanent direct-messaging service. Any current participant may end chat; it then becomes read-only and joining closes. Blocking someone does not by itself remove existing shared Plan or chat access. Use the available leave, reporting and account controls for those purposes. The privacy policy explains how information and content are processed and retained.
5. Safety and user decisions
Use reporting and blocking to raise concerns. Authorized moderators may review relevant reports and evidence, warn or suspend accounts, or cancel Plans for safety or abuse reasons. Moderation is based on available information and may not identify every harmful interaction.
If you choose to meet offline, you make that decision at your own discretion and are responsible for your conduct and choices about people, activities and venues. CouplesConnect does not verify identity, attendance, compatibility, venue quality or safety, and does not guarantee another user's conduct or a particular outcome. Attendance/no-show statements are user claims, not independently verified facts. The app is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services if there is immediate danger.
6. Account controls and deletion
You may edit supported profile information, manage saved Plans and push preferences, deactivate your account, or request permanent deletion. Deactivation is temporary and is not deletion. Deletion is a separate confirmed action and cannot be reversed by reactivating the account. It may cancel active/upcoming hosted Plans and withdraw participation and pending requests. Background processing means account authentication removal may not be instantaneous. Limited shared Plan history and private moderation/security evidence may remain as described in the Privacy Policy, including applicable legal holds. 7. Service availability and changes
We work to keep CouplesConnect available and secure, but features may be changed, interrupted or discontinued for maintenance, safety, legal or operational reasons. We may update these terms when the service or law changes. We will give notice or obtain renewed agreement where required by law. The service is provided subject to applicable consumer and other legal protections; nothing here removes a right that cannot legally be limited.
8. Intellectual property and user content
You retain rights you have in content you submit. You give us permission to host, process, display and transmit it as needed to operate the features you choose, provide the service, maintain safety, and comply with law. This permission ends when the content is deleted from active service, subject to copies and retention described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
The CouplesConnect name, branding, software and service materials are owned by or licensed to the operator and may not be copied or misused except as permitted by law.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably needed to address suspected abuse, security risks, violations of these terms, or legal requirements. We will use appropriate review and communication where practicable and lawful. Suspension may cancel active/upcoming hosted Plans and withdraw joined participation and pending requests. Restoring account access does not automatically restore those arrangements or override a deactivation or deletion request.
You may stop using the service and request deletion as described above.
10. Disclaimers and liability
CouplesConnect facilitates user-created social arrangements; users remain responsible for their interactions and offline decisions. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a promise that a Plan will be accepted, completed, safe or suitable, or that another user will attend or behave as expected.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory legal protections and the jurisdiction of courts or forums that applicable law requires.
